DHARAVI PRIVATE LONG TOUR

You travel in the comfort of an a/c car. We pick you up from your hotel or residence and on the way to Dharavi, we pass areas of interest such as Kamathipura (red light area) and Dhobi Ghat (big open air laundry). The guide will also explain to you issues facing some of less fortunate people in Mumbai- such as the pavement dwellers and the street children.

Payment needs to be made when we have confirmed availability. Payment needs to be done in advance of the tour to confirm your booking in one of the following ways:

  1. by visiting our office and making the payment, OR
  2. by paying online by Paypal (we will send you an online invoice), OR
  3. by depositing the amount into our bank account (Bank of Baroda), OR
  4. by sending us a cheque payable to “Reality Tours and Travel”

AMENITIES:

Access to clean squat toilets are available at the beginning of the Dharavi tour (at Mahim Railway station) and there is a clean Western toilet at the end of the Dharavi tour (Dharavi reception centre)

NO CAMERA POLICY

We have a strict no cameras policy

PEOPLE NOT STAYING IN COLABA/ MARINE DRIVE/ FORT:

Please note that to see all the areas of interest on the way to Dharavi, you need to start from Colaba, Marine Drive, or the Fort Area. For tourists staying in other parts of Mumbai we can advise on what will and will not be included in the tour depending on the location of your hotel.

For hotels north of Mahim, such as Bandra, Juhu and the Airport area, only the Dharavi element of the tour is included and hence it might be worth considering doing the short tour. The cost of the private long tour will be greater as well due to extra time and distance for us. We charge an additional Rs 600 for Juhu and Airport hotels, and Rs 300 for Bandra.
